Before you start

  • Minimum Age: Exactly 18 years old.
  • National ID: Valid Kenyan National Identity Card (or original Passport for foreigners).
  • NTSA TIMS Account: Active account on the eCitizen/NTSA portal for license applications.
  • Medical Fitness: Good physical health and adequate eyesight (tested during enrollment).
  • Education: Basic literacy to read road signs and pass the theory exam
