Category C (Medium Truck) Half Course is a fast-track training program tailored for experienced commercial drivers who already know how to drive a medium-sized truck but require targeted preparation to pass the mandatory NTSA board and practical exams. It cuts the regular practical driving hours in half, making it both quicker and more affordable than a full course

• Axle Load Compliance: Ability to calculate weight distribution, secure commercial cargo, and clear KeNHA weighbridge checks legally.
• Commercial Sign Proficiency: Instant recognition of truck-specific road signs, height clearances, and weight limit restrictions.
• Defensive Fleet Driving: Advanced hazard perception to manage longer stopping distances and prevent truck rollovers.

Before you start

• Minimum Age: Exactly 18 years old.
• National ID: Valid Kenyan National Identity Card (or original Passport for foreigners).
• NTSA TIMS Account: Active account on the eCitizen/NTSA portal for license applications.
• Medical Fitness: Good physical health and adequate eyesight (tested during enrollment).
• Education: Basic literacy to read road signs and pass the theory exam
